Baoyun Tunnel Breakthrough

On June 30, the Baoyun Tunnel, a key control project and the longest single-bore double-track tunnel on the Chongqing-Kunming High Speed Railway, was successfully broken through. Located in Huize County, Qujing City, Yunnan Province, the tunnel is 16.8 kilometers long and is the first tunnel over 16 kilometers completed on the Chongqing-Kunming High-Speed Rail. With this breakthrough, 41 tunnels have been completed on the Yunnan section of the line.
